DAY 1. LISBON
Arrive in Lisbon. Reception from our guide. Accommodations. Rest of the day is free in Lisbon.
DAY 2. LISBON - ÉVORA
Breakfast at the hotel. Right away, we will leave Lisbon toward Setúbal and Montemor-o-Novo, a small town located on the bottom of the hill crowned with medieval ruins. We will cross the bridge over the Tagus River and will arrive at the land of vineyards L'AND, a modern complex of wine producers where we will eat lunch and have the opportunity to appreciate the quality of its production. In the afternoon, we will resume our trip going on the direction of Évora, World Heritage city that throughout the years has known how to conserve the richness of its architecture. At evening, GOURMET dinner at a restaurant selected by Gastronomic Tour Spain.
DAY 3. ÉVORA – MONSARAZ
Breakfast at the hotel. We will pay a visit on foot to Évora, where we will see the cobbled streets and its surprising monuments like the Cathedral, Porta Nova square, Giraldo square, among others. Lunch at a restaurant selected by Gastronomic Tour Spain. After lunch, we will continue the trip to Monsaraz, where we will accommodate ourselves at a hotel located between olive groves and vineyards with an enchanting view to a Medieval castle. Dinner selected by GTS.
DAY 4. MONSARAZ – ALQUEVA – MONSARAZ
After breakfast, we will visit Monsaraz, a Medieval fortress with a complex of circular walls and its castle. Emerged at a time when firearms were yet to be invented, this fortified hill was the stage of numerous battles during the Muslim Conquest. We will visit a olive grove and learn about the whole production process of olive oil and we will take some time for a tasting of its products. Return to the hotel. Lunch at a restaurant selected by Gastronomy Tour Spain. In the late afternoon, we will participate in a fun culinary class with typical products of the region, instructed by the chef of the hotel. We will be able to taste the result of our experiment as part of our dinner, as well as great quality Portuguese wines.
DAY 5. MONSARAZ – LISBON
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time to rest in Monsaraz. Before lunch we will return to Lisbon. Lunch at a typical Lisbon's restaurant selected by Gastronomic Tour Spain. Rest of the day is free.
DAY 6. LISBON
Breakfast at the hotel. Panoramic city tour of the beautiful Lisbon. The day is free for tours and independent activities.
DAY 7. LISBON – END
Breakfast at the hotel. Transportation to the airport. End of Gastronomic Tour Spain services.
